đź“– About the Scholarship:
This scholarship is designed to support Ph.D. students focusing on East Asian studies within humanities and social sciences. It helps students who need an additional year of funding beyond the standard five years of enrollment. The scholarship can be combined with other internal or external funding, as long as students show consistent progress toward completing their dissertation.
âś… Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Must have approval for DCE (Dissertation Completion Enrollment) status from both their department and the Graduate School.
- Students who have already received sixth-year funding from PIIRS are not eligible.
