The Professional Fellows Exchange Program 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for young professionals from South and Central Asia. The program lasts 5–6 weeks and focuses on governance, public policy, and leadership development.
Funded by the U.S. Department of State and managed by World Learning, this program brings together rising leaders from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the United States. It’s designed to help participants learn how U.S. public institutions work, exchange policy ideas, and promote good governance.

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply, you must:

Be 25 to 40 years old

Be from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or the U.S.

Be committed to returning to your home country after the program

Have strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

Have experience related to governance, policy, or civil society

Be comfortable working in diverse, cross-cultural environments
