The Southern Cross University Scholarship for the academic year 2024-2025 provides partial funding opportunities for international students pursuing undergraduate and master’s degrees. Valued at $5,000, this scholarship offers fee reductions annually, disbursed in instalment throughout each academic year. Payments commence in the first session and continue based on successful completion of each study session.
Scholarship Benefits:
Regional Scholarships for International Students:
- Â Receive a $5,000 reduction in fees annually, distributed in installments throughout the academic year, starting from the first session and continuing based on successful completion of each study session.
Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarships:
- Enjoy an $8,000 reduction in fees each year, disbursed in installments throughout the academic year, commencing from the first session and continuing contingent upon successful completion of each study session.
Qualification requirements for Southern Cross University Scholarship:
- Language Requirement: English proficiency is mandatory.
- Eligible Nations: Applicants from all countries worldwide, excluding citizens or permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand.
- Enrollment: Apply for full-time studies (equivalent to 8 units per year) in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at either the Lismore, Gold Coast, or Coffs Harbour campus.
- Admission Criteria: Candidates must meet the University’s minimum admission standards.
- Undergraduate Admission: Equivalent to Australian Year 12 qualification with the required entry grade for the desired program; and English proficiency equivalent to Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band score below 5.5.
- Academic Progression: Students must successfully pass all units in their course of study to maintain scholarship eligibility. Attendance Requirement: Students must adhere to the attendance requirements of their program and student visa to retain scholarship eligibility.
